As part of our infrastructure building efforts, 99.com has launched a project management, collaboration and support portal http://projects.99on.com.

The portal is powered by the Sharepoint which is an enterprise-class project management information system (PMIS) that allows collaboration between project managers, developers, creative staff, vendors and clients.

A key feature of this portal is permission-based logins and custom subsites that allows for fine-grained environments for project management, team building and collaboration.

What does it mean for our clients? A number of things:

Effective tracking of project tasks and milestones with the end goal of delivering on time

Enhanced communication using discussion boards, blogs and wikis within the portal.

Centralized storage of project assets such as documents, files, images

In the coming weeks we will be rolling out more features for the portal. Our plans include a dedicated helpdesk, knowledgebase and a users forum.
